J'apprends seul à jouer de la cornemuse avec cette méthode. Il faut beaucoup de rigueur et de discipline personnelle. Il ne faut pas vouloir aller trop vite. Je vais donc lentement.Je joue tous les jours, un peu le matin et un peu le soir, plus le week-end, dès que j'ai un instant de libre, je m'entraîne. J'évite les longues séances qui sont destructrices, je joue peu, mais souvent, ça permet de mieux apprendre, d'une fois sur l'autre, un mouvement en cours d'apprentissage murit et prend forme. Je reste parfois plus longtemps que prévu sur une partie difficile pour moi.Je complète avec un accordeur Korg, indispensable, et avec le Net pour vérifier que les notes ou les airs joués correspondent à ce qui est attendu. Il existe pas mal de sites en anglais bien faits pour signaler les travers à éviter, ça suppose de lire l'anglais.Il faut en revanche éviter les practices vendus ici. J'ai démarré avec, mais j'ai rapidement acheté dans un deuxième temps un MacCallum en polypenco qui est très bon.

Livre bien écrit et compréhensible par tous. Met à porter l'apprentissage de la cornemuse.Par ailleurs, une version regroupant les 3 tomes aurait pu être souhaitable.
