"Este libro propone conocer el legado de Sergiu Celibidache en el campo de la Dirección de Orquesta y la Interpretación Musical. Para ello hemos considerado los antecedentes, descubriendo cuáles son sus pasos desde su formación musical y filosófica hasta su enseñanza de la Fenomenología Musical. Una vez conocida la materia nos hemos centrado en el análisis y aplicación de dichos conocimiento en las sinfonías de Bruckner dirigidas por Celibidache. Con este trabajo hemos podido comprobar en detalle la influencia de Celibidache a través de toda su obra fonográfica gracias a las diferentes grabaciones que ha realizado. Después de ello podemos aseverar que la fuerza arrolladora de la figura de Sergiu Celibidache en el Universo musical, su enorme influencia en la música del siglo XX y su inclinación por la Fenomenología Musical, han ejercido como definitivo detonante para que evolucione el concepto de Música y la técnica de la Dirección de Orquesta."

"Nacido en Málaga, Javier Miranda Medina es, Doctor en Fenomenología Musical por la Universidad de Málaga, Doctor en Música por la Universidad de Canterbury (Kent, Inglaterra), Director de Orquesta, Profesor Superior de Música por el Conservatorio Superior de Música de su ciudad natal y Miembro de la Academia de la Música y las Artes Escénicas de Madrid. Autor de dos libros: ?Iberia: 12 Nuevas Impresiones en Cuatro Cuadernos (Análisis formal)?, editado en la editorial Si Bemol de Málaga y ?La Tuba? editado en Rivera Música. Es Alumno del Maestro Enrique García Asensio con quien ha estudiado Dirección de Orquesta y Fenomenología Musical. Actualmente, es Director Titular y Artístico de la "Hispanian Symphony Orchestra (HSO)", Director Titular y Artístico de la Banda de Música de la Asociación Músico-Cultural "Ntra. Sra. De la Paz" de Marmolejo (Jaén) y Profesor de Música y Artes Escénicas en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música "Ramón Garay" de Jaén."
